The U.S. Mission in Addis Ababa/ Ethiopia is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Quality Control.  

Position 1 Resource Coordination Assistant  

Qualifications and Evaluations  

Education- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Financial Management, Organizational Management, Accounting, or Public Administration is required.  

EXPERIENCE- At least three years of progressively responsible experience in a major organization in budget, accounting, business administration, financial management, organizational management, public administration, project management, or grants management work is required.

Evaluations  

• LANGUAGE- Level 4( Fluent) Speaking Reading Writing English is required.(This may be tested)  

• Level 4( Fluent) Speaking Reading Writing Amharic is required. ( This may be tested)  Salary$ 14,759/ Year

Position 2 Maintenance Mechanic (Generator Mechanics (NEC)  

Education Completion of secondary school is required. Completion of the training program from an accredited institute recognized as producing power generation diesel engine mechanics is required.  

EXPERIENCE

A minimum of three (3) years experience in the operation, maintenance, and repair of high or standby power generators for large marketable properties similar to high-rise office buildings, a hospital or college campus, or for the original utility company is required. One year of which should be in the operations, maintenance, and repair of 1000 KVA or larger generators.  

LANGUAGE  

• Level 2( Limited working Knowledge of Speaking Reading Writing English is required. ( This may be tested)  

• Level 3( Good working knowledge of Speaking Reading, and Writing Amharic is required. (This may be tested)
