House of Peoples Representatives Vacancy
The House of Peoples Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia seeks to hire interested and qualified individuals for the following vacant positions.
The inaugural Ethiopian parliament was established on November 3, 1931, following Emperor Haile Selassie I’s proclamation of his first constitution in July 1931. Since that time, the parliament has been recognized as a political institution in Ethiopia, although its functioning has varied across different regimes. This document aims to outline the characteristics of the parliaments introduced by three Ethiopian governments that have governed the nation.
As stipulated in Article 53 of the FDRE Constitution, the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia comprises two Federal Houses: the House of Peoples’ Representatives and the House of the Federation. These Houses have been in operation since August 1995. The House of Peoples’ Representatives serves as the highest authority within the federal government. Members of the House of Peoples’ Representatives are elected from candidates in each electoral district through a plurality of votes cast by the populace for a term of five years, based on universal suffrage and conducted via direct, free, and fair elections held by secret ballot.

Registration Date For 7 consecutive working days from the date of publication of this notice; It will be announced on the internal notice board that the registration for the examination period is complete.
