Position Drone Operator
Job Description – Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform drone spraying of fertilizers on crops by established procedures and guidelines
- Strong data of drone expertise.
- Understanding original drone laws.
- Ensure the correct upkeep and upkeeping of drones each day.
- Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight safety checks to forestall accidents and reduce dangers.
- Keep drone batteries charged always to ensure continued operation.
- Follow directions from the supervisor and/ or Manager relating to flight plans and functional protocols.
- Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures( SOPs) when working drones and spraying fertilizer.
- Safely transport drones inside a spread of 25 to 50 kilometers day by day.
- Gather needed data and data as required for agrarian operations.
Job Requirements
Education Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, and associated fields( Aviation, Physical Science, Computer Science, or Engineering)
Work Experience – minimum of 0 up to 1- year experience
Job Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, and competence required for the position
- Must be willing to be certified as a drone pilot by the company.
- Excellent verbal and spoken communication abilities to coordinate with the cultural workforce, with proficiency in Amharic and English.
- Preferably to have expertise in agrarian drone spraying companies.
- Familiarity with agrarian operations, crop safety, and mapping for effective communication.
- Strong attention to elements and ability to observe established protocols and checklists.
- Ability to ride a motorcycle and transport drone tools safely.
- Good logic and problem-
- working abilities.
- introductory data of climate patterns and forecasts.
- Ability to work in a workforce and adapt to changing work environments and laborious climate situations.
