Position 1: WET UTILITIES ENGINEER-INFRASTRUCTURE

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • BSC Degree in Civil Engineering field of study with a minimum of years of relevant experiences in known organization.

# Oversee, review and manage the design and implementation of wet utilities, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Position 2: STAKEHOLDERS COORDINATOR

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA Degree in Management field of study with a minimum of 15 years relevant experiences in known organization.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

# Establishment of Stakeholders Engagement Plan along with Communication Plan.

# implementing and overseeing the Stakeholders Engagement Plan and Communication Plan.

# Proven expertise in managing diverse and complex stakeholder groups, including government authorities, airport operators, airlines, contractors, consultants, and local communities.

Position 3: SENIOR PROJECT/PROGRAM MANAGER

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

BSC Degree in Civil engineering or Architecture with a minimum of 20 years’ relevant experience, out of which 10 years in Airport.

  • MSC in Project/ Construction Management is an added advantage.  KEY COMPETENCIES:

    # Daily management of the project including oversight of the design, construction supervision and project management duties, along with leadership of the internal and external interfaces and stakeholder management.

    # Participate in establishing project objectives, budgetary and program constraints, project management plan, administrative requirements, design and construction packaging strategy, and various contract interfaces.

    # Develop and submit annual Capital Construction Budget

    # Coordinate and directs the activities of consultants, architects, engineers, and contractors engaged in designing and constructing airport facilities.

    # Direct the inspection of new construction for conformance with contract provisions, plans, specifications and sound construction practices.

Position 5: RISK MANAGER

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • BSC/BA Degree in Civil Engineering, Risk Management with a minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience, out of which 8 years in Airport.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

# Designing and carrying out corporate risk management processes

# Completing operational risk assessments

# Reporting problems or concerns to colleagues and stakeholders

# Monitoring insurance purchases and health and safety measures

# Making business continuity plans to follow in the event of an incident

# Training staff to increase risk awareness and communicate policies

# Providing support to limit risks and reduce incidents

# Visiting sites to monitor and suggest changes to processes

# Manage day-to-day interaction between all project participants related to risk management and insurance issues.

# Manage all aspects of contract review as relates to insurance and bonds issues, including coordination of contract review with legal.

# Analyse and understand insurable risks and potential risk mitigation opportunities; interact with operational groups to ensure coordination between project activities, exposures, and appropriate insurance coverage.

# Review, initiate and direct the appropriate insurance coverage and pricing for all new bids and projects.

# Work with client/owner insurance representatives to ensure proper placement and coordination of any project specific insurance policies.

# Lead communication efforts with broker and surety company to facilitate timely delivery of project- specific performance and payment bonds.

# Maintain knowledge of trends in construction insurance industry, including thorough working knowledge of insurance products, coverage and pricing.

# Assist with budgets, forecasts and financial reports

# Assist with internal communication and advertising strategies related to all risk management initiatives.

Position 6: PLANNING/ SCHEDULING SPECIALIST

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • BSC in Civil Engineering field of study with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experiences in known organization. Having MSc. in Project/Construction Management is an added advantage.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

# Oversee and manage all matters related to project scheduling, progress monitoring and reporting.

# Review and evaluate all requests for time extension.

# Review the project master schedules (prepared by Consultants and Contractors) to ensure they are in line with the project key milestones.

# Expertise in using advanced scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) for developing and maintaining detailed project schedules.

# Proficiency in performing critical path analysis to identify project milestones, potential delays, and resource constraints.

# Proven experience in planning and scheduling for large-scale airport infrastructure projects, including terminals, runways, and support facilities.

# Ability to integrate inputs from various disciplines (e.g., civil, mechanical, electrical) to develop cohesive project schedules.

Position 7: OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BSC in Office Administration, Secretarial science & Office Management/Customer contact & Secretarial operation/Secretarial science or any business-related field of study with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, out of which 5 years in Airport.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

# Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the office, ensuring that administrative processes run smoothly.

# Provide support to staff and management, including handling correspondence, preparing documents, and scheduling meetings.

# Manage communication channels, such as phone calls and emails.

# Supervise office staff, including clerical and administrative personnel.

# Maintain filing systems and ensure the proper retention, protection, and disposal of records.

# Oversee, review and manage the design and implementation of mechanical works, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

# Proficiency in global mechanical engineering standards (ASHRAE, ISO, ICAO) applicable to airport infrastructure.

# Extensive experience in designing and implementing large-scale HVAC systems for airport terminals, hangars, and support facilities.

# Expertise in the design of airport-specific plumbing systems and fire protection, including sprinkler systems and emergency response protocols.

# Knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient mechanical systems, including LEED-certified designs.

# Proven track record in the design and integration of specialized airport systems, such as baggage handling systems (BHS), passenger boarding bridges, and jet fuel systems.

Position 9: HIGHWAY & RAILWAY ENGINEER

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • BSC in Civil Engineering field of study with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, out of which 5 years in Airport.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

# Oversee, review and manage the design and implementation of highway & railway works, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

# Expertise in global standards (AASHTO, UIC, EN, etc.) for highway and railway infrastructure, particularly in airport settings.

# Proven experience in designing roadways and rail systems that integrate seamlessly with airport operations, including access roads, taxiways, and transit links.

# Knowledge of designing transportation systems that facilitate smooth transitions between different modes of travel (road, rail, air) within the airport.

# Strong skills in traffic flow analysis, planning, and management to ensure efficient movement of passengers and goods.

# Proficiency in designing durable pavements for heavy airport traffic, with experience in maintenance strategies to minimize disruptions.

# Expertise in designing airport-specific rail systems, including light rail, automated people movers (APM), and cargo rail links.

Position 11: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

# Oversee, review and manage the design and implementation of electrical works, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

# Proficiency in global electrical standards (NEC, IEC, ICAO) for airport infrastructure.
