Position 1 Production Team Leader  

Skills, Experience & Education  First Degree in Mechanical/ Industrial/ Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years applicable experience in a manufacturing environment  The position is structured to report to the separate Unit Manager and will manage process artisan, casual workers, and others. The incumbent is responsible for leading the SBU in the execution of the production plan, ensuring that the product meets all quality specifications, asset care through independent maintenance tasks, and the resolution of production problems.  

Key Duties & Responsibilities  

People practices  

• Coach team members in the correct execution of their tasks(  functional and specialized).  

2. To drive WCM initiatives on own shift  

• Communicates work practice deployment plans and ensures team buy-in.  

3. Operating and Process Control  

• Ensuring that team members understand and adhere to the functional, quality, and process standards, work instructions and maintenance schedules, work practice deployment plans, and performance targets.  

4. Maintenance of Plant and Equipment  

• Check that the team members, carry out required independent maintenance tasks and any required running repairs on shift per work instructions and maintenance schedules.  

5. Quality Control and Analysis  

• Ensure that the team members understand and adhere to quality standards  

6. Communication  

• Communicate team goals and regularly review to ensure team alignment  

7. Problem-solving  

• Coach and support team members in using the correct problem-solving techniques(  similar to 5Why, quick fix, OPL’setc.) to solve situational problems.  

8. nonstop Improvement  

• Ensure that SIC mechanisms are in place to track and monitor waste(e.g. mass balance)

Position 2 Team Leader- Distribution

Skills, Experience & Education  

First Degree in Logistics and Supplies Chain Management/ Accounting/ Business Administration or related field of studies, Minimum of 3 years applicable experience in a logistics environment. The position is structured to report to the Unit Leader- Distribution and will be responsible for leading the execution of the Distribution plan, ensuring that the product is delivered safely, effectively, and efficiently in full and on time to all our customers.  

Key Duties & Responsibilities  

1. Product Distribution.  

2. Transport and Logistics Management.  

3. Reporting and Analysis.  

4. Ensure safety and housekeeping standards are adhered to including vehicle appearance, condition, and cleanliness.  

5. Conduct original incident and accident investigations and escalate accordingly.  

6. Check and ensure that team members monitor planned deliveries versus factual deliveries to obtain the desired customer service levels.  

7. Check that the drivers and other team members, carry out required introductory vehicle and equipment maintenance tasks and any required introductory running repairs on the road under work instructions and maintenance requirements.
