Awash Bank invites competent and qualified candidates for the following positions.

Awash Bank, Ethiopia’s pioneering private bank, was established on November 10, 1994 after the downfall of the socialist regime. The Bank was established by 486 founding shareholders with a paid-up capital of Birr 24.2 million and started banking operations on Feb. 13, 1995.

Since embarking operation, the Bank has registered remarkable growth. Notwithstanding global and domestic challenges, Awash Bank has exhibited a superior operational and financial performances among private banks operating in Ethiopia. Awash Bank is currently working towards strengthening its capital base, technological capabilities, human resources and customer base.

Position 1: Information Systems Auditor

Education : Bsc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology & Information Systems or BA Degree in Business associated field plus a minimum of four (Four) years in in Banking Operations with a minimum of 2 (Two) years in Information Systems Auditing.

  • Certifications in IT Auditing is Mandatory.

Position 2 :Business Development Manager

Qualification & Experience:

  • BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics or related discipline plus a minimal of Six (6) years of work experience in the banking sector

Position 3 : Customer Service Manager I

Qualification & Experience:

BA Degree in Marketing, Accounting, Management, Economics plus minimal of 5 years of experience with at least 3 years at operational work.

Qualification & Experience:

Bsc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology & Information Systems or BA Degree in Business associated field plus a minimum of 6 (Six) years journey in banking operations with a minimum of 3 (Three) years in Information Systems Auditing. Certifications in IT Auditing is Mandatory.

Position 4: Branch Manager Class IV

Qualification & Experience:

BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics plus minimal of 8 years of relevant banking ride of which 3 years in a supervisory position.
