Position 1: Chief Information Officer

Qualifications: MSC/BSC in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical/Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Science, MIS, or any other associated field

Experience: Ten (10) years of relevant Banking experience, with four (4) years at the Director or Department Managerial degree and as per NBE’s requirement.

Purpose of the Job is to achieve the Bank’s business goals by improving the organization’s inner processes as a way of maximizing company effectivity and making complex tasks extra achievable by making use of secured technology systems.

Generic Functions:

  • Lead the development, review, and implementation of purposeful policies, procedures, annual plans/budgets, and performance reports;

  • Oversee the fantastic and efficient utilization of technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the company to ensure optimal performance;

  • Lead the IT hazard assessment process and mitigation things to do in line with corporate risk two management frameworks;
  • Monitor cyber security improvement program and follow up its implementation;
  • Drive the shipping of cyber security awareness education to all users on a regular basis;
  • Monitor and make sure that the Bank’s information technology assets are appropriately protected from unauthorized destruction, alteration, and access;
  • Ensure that IT and community infrastructure adequately support the company’s computing, records processing, and communications needs Oversee the development of mutually nice and sustainable relationships with IT service and solution providers;
  • Monitor modifications in the technology sector to find out ways the bank can enhance operational efficiencies;

Position 2: Director, Marketing & Communication

Qualifications: MBA/MA/BA in Marketing Management/Business/Management/ Accounting/Economics/Business Administration/ Finance and Economics or any other related field.

Experience: Eight/Ten (8/10) years of applicable experience, of which three (3) years in a managerial position.

Purpose of the Job:

  • To support the Bank increase its market share by way of enhancing its accessibility through extended visibility and introducing new products and services;
  • effectively attaining out to existing and potential clients through integrated advertising and marketing communication programs and constructing a sustainable corporate identity and photo of the Bank.

Essential Functions:

  • Review the analysis of consumer trends, competitor positions, and market conditions;
  • Review new product thoughts to determine feasibility and potential market demand;
  • Lead and coordinate research on new product development and modification of present products to meet customer expectations;
  • Initiate and take part in workshops and briefings on new and modified products and services in collaboration with different work units;Conduct market and need assessment lookup to identify potential areas for the improvement of new financial products, and revisiting existing products;
  • Drive the improvement of products, develop detailed mission development plan, track and screen project progress, ensure fine implementation of new products, initiate and perform post-implementation evaluation after launch;
  • Work closely with customer journey managers to develop and implement purchaser journeys with the best market practice and outstanding customer experience
  • Handle other associated duties as may be required
