Job summary:
The project M&E officer support the implementation of DSW M&E systems of the SAfA Project focused on data collection, compilation and analysis of DSW project/s. The M & E officer is also responsible to provide technical support, conduct monitor visit, participate in data quality assessment and DSW Project evaluation. In addition, he/she will work with M&E team to document DSW program/projects best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning and conducting assessments study design, design or review of data collection tools, data management and quality control for project baseline, mid-term and end line surveys and evaluate studies in collaboration with the team
- Conduct data analysis, interpretation, and reporting of results of activities undertaken above
- Develop project/s monitoring and evaluation tools (data collection, analysis etc) in collaboration with the project team
- Conduct M and E visits to assess projects implementation and to ensure that project/s are moving in the right direction and identify bottlenecks and solutions
- Assist with compilation of documents and presentations for M & E trainings for program/project staffs and key stakeholders.
- Conduct/support the development and implementation of trainings on Quality assurance methodologies, data management and M&E tools.
- Support knowledge management and learning system of the organization
- Gathering data, information on DSW Ethiopia projects and best practices through designed systems of data collection and other suggested means.
- Support the documentation of best practices (case studies, end of projects evaluations etc)
- Perform other activities as assigned
Job requirements:
- Masters degree in Statistics, M&E, Public Health/Social sciences, Demography and related field.
- A 5 years practical experience in M & E preferably in Adolescent SRH, HIV/AIDS , Family Planning and other related areas
- Computer knowledge mainly on statistical software such as SPSS, EPI INFO and STATA are essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills particularly in English
Location: Addis Ababa with frequent travel to project sites

Job summary:
The Project Accountant is responsible for the implementation of the DSW projects that s/he assigned on for day-to-day financial issues and follows the organization and government rules and regulations procedures.
Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with all other Finance staff, provide a comprehensive support service to the project team ensure that DSW financial control procedures and systems are followed
- Follow, record and report project/s financial status to project owner/s
- Receive incoming invoices, bills and scrutinize before preparation of payment vouchers
- Prepare check payment vouchers for service deliveries various purchases, salaries and others.
- Handling and effecting per diem payments for participants of the various capacity building trainings, events on project sites and maintain their documentations
- Support price analysis sheet for determination of the best offer and prepare purchase order.
- Ensure that no payment should be initiated without standing procedure and/or agreement.
- Make sure that adequate supporting documents are attached to each and all payments.
- Make that proper computation of withholding other taxes are made before effecting payments.
- Code all expenses accurately to meet the accounting requirements.
- Provide technical support to clubs partners and ensure financial procedures maintained in every expenditures.
- Record receipts, payments and other vouchers on daily basis.
- Produce monthly financial reports and other reports in close collaboration with NTC-Finance
- Produce and provide budget status report for internal and external use
- Support in maintaining a complete audit trail of relevant documentation
Job requirements:
- BA Degree in Accounting and related fields.
Experience
- At least five years of relevant experience in NGO setting
- Good knowledge and application of Ms-Office and preferably SUN accounting Software
- Good team work and working knowledge of English language.
- Excellent interpersonal skill
- Training on IPSAS is an advantage
