Position Deatail
The job position of United Nations new vacancy is called namely Intern - Social Sciences with full Job time and work location at Addis Ababa. To qualify for this job Vacancy a person who want this position is NOT requested to have an experience but your training, education, advance course work or skills should benefit the United Nations during your internship and he/she is expected to meet the criteria including language skill, Computer literate skill in standard software applications and also the applicant must be enrolled in completed, a graduate school programme (second-level university degree or equivalent, or higher), enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of the first university degree programme with a minimum of bachelor level or equivalent. Applicants who have graduated according to the defined criteria above, if he/she selected, he/she must commence the internship within a one-year period of graduation.
Since English and French are the main working languages of the United Nations Secretariat, Fluency in English is mandatory for this Internship Programme and knowledge of French is desirable and skill of other official UN language adds extra value.
