Position Description
The overall preparation and posting of payments for domestic and international transactions falls under this person’s purview. monitoring payables.
Responsibilities and obligations
accountable for payment verification and SAP posting.
Prepare payment only after confirming that all payment documents have been properly approved and are accurate, complete, and original.
Before posting, check that the appropriate vendor and cash accounts are chosen in ERP.
Execute the settlement/disbursement of vendor invoices and other payments on the ERP with caution.
Verify that the payment journals have the correct financial entries and codes.
Calculate every governmental tax that is necessary before making a payment and then posting the payment record to ERP.
Settlement/Disbursement of Vendor Invoices and any other payment-related matters.
preserving current payment posting.
assisting with shutting each month’s conclusion.
Create a schedule for daily payments.
Prepare and carry out CPO base payments and bank transfers.
The approval team will make sure that the vendor receives payment in a day.
investigating any irregularities or inquiries, and resolving them.
Retention account balances are controlled and followed up on.

Monitor and report bank balances every day.
On a daily basis, reconcile SAP records and bank statements with payments made by cheque, bank transfer, and CPO.
AP Senior Accountant should be informed of all daily advances.
Ensure that all withholding tax transactions and payment vouchers are tracked and entered into the system.
observing very strict timelines for publishing transactions and timely payment processing.
It is your responsibility to confirm the availability of the required papers (WHT, Payment Voucher, Debit
Qualification: BA in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, or a closely related subject.
